Woodstock Times: Clear Path at Varga
DUSK AT DAWN, Andrew Wible, 2010, acrylic on canvas
From the May 6, 2010 Woodstock Times:
"The points of stability within the maelstrom of performance, happening, and arts collective group show offerings, will be what gallery owner Christina Varga is terming a 'Double Shot Solo Show' by artists Michael Hunt and Andrew Wible under the recently apt title, Reconciliation: No Traffic, Only a Clear Path.
"Hunt, who's been living and working in the area for years now, is best known for his Pop stencil-cut wood panels and sculptures. This time around his, "search for that mythic and ragged American Dream" has taken him into realms of design.
"Wible, a Staten Island-based freelance artist working in design for television and commercials who has been known to describe his work as "cursing with compassion," last showed at Varga as part of its 2007 Dada show."
